Overview

The PepsiCo Digital Lab is looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented Senior Marketing Manager to lead the Digital Marketing agenda for PepsiCo’s local customers. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the execution of PepsiCo’s Digital Marketing agenda directly with our customers, and own the development of new capabilities and services directly tied to the growing local businesses. This role provides the best combination of Commercial, Innovation and Communication experience as well as give you exposure to the highest levels of the organization. This is a marketing role where you will lead our PepsiCo Digital Marketing agenda across Snacks, Foods and Beverages, create meaningful consumer engagement programs (build brands), Commercial programs (drive Sales and Profitability) and Innovate through leading tech and data partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Own the Digital Marketing agenda directly integrated into the Customer Marketing Teams and Customer Sales Teams, being responsible for the go-to-market strategies and executions across local customers.
  • Establish and lead key senior relationships at customers, bringing to life strategic brand marketing, commercial and innovative programs
  • Proactive integration and coordination with Insights teams to ensure we have a relevant consumer first agenda. Bring Insights-led thinking to assist in creation of partnership marketing strategies, creative development and sell in.
  • Collaborate and lead relationships with Brand Teams & briefing agencies to build / develop innovative custom marketing solutions (bring new ideas and thinking)
  • Establish a Digital/3PD Strategy that enhances and amplifies the local customers strategy – including driving profitable growth of online ordering channels, and building our brands.
  • Demonstrate breakthrough thinking by partnering with internal and industry experts.
  • Lead (develop, present and gain alignment) AOP and JBP internally and externally with PepsiCo’s local customer Divisions.
  • Spearhead the planning and development of partnerships with tech and services solutions that will help grow local customers.
  • Think BIG and be creative, digital knowledge/savviness is key
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute and build partnership solutions that support brand goals across all PepsiCo brands (i.e. Lay’s, Doritos, Pepsi, etc)
  • Play a key role in influencing the future of the Digital Lab – participating in the vision and development of future capabilities, services, and resources for our brands and customer partners.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or MBA with 10-15yrs of experience preferred with consumer-packaged goods, food service, restaurants, ad / marketing tech, and/or online ordering and delivery platforms.
  • Proven expertise in creative and/or media agency management and ability to mobilize a diverse team
  • Strong leadership skills/presence (i.e. comfortable presenting to senior executives as well as external Customer and Agency partners) and ability to influence various stakeholders
  • Proven relationship and communication skills with ability to bring others with them and make an impact when interacting with senior levels/C-suite
  • Strong experience in marketing and advertising data preferred – 1P and 3P data management, acquisition, and activation strategies.
  • Collaborative, team player that thrives in a dynamic customer environment
  • Demonstrated “big idea” thinker that can bring an idea to life through to a strong in-restaurant/digital execution plan. Ability to create outstanding creative and bring New & Innovative thinking that connects Customer & Brand priorities
  • Commercially minded, Customer/Partnership mindset
  • Be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Location: ability to work from either our Purchase, NY or Chicago, IL office locations.
