Job Description & Summary

As part of an international team, you work from our office in Amsterdam on state-of-the-art digital solutions for our clients. The main task of the AOT mainly consists of unburdening colleagues in the field of software. This means that In this role, you'll provide advisory services during the development process of digital solutions. Once these solutions have been developed, you'll take over the responsibility of maintaining and scaling them to meet the growing needs of our clients. All this with the aim of quickly delivering innovative digital products without compromising quality.

Many of our clients are facing major challenges - the expectations of their customers and employees are changing faster than they can adapt. At the same time, new market entrants are causing significant disruption and gaining market share. To meet these challenges, AOT's customers need a partner that can help them rapidly bring to market innovative and accelerating solutions that have an immediate and differentiating impact on the experience provided to their customer or employees.

The Asset Operations Team is a new and energetic team in Amsterdam that works internationally with other European PwC teams in Amsterdam, Basel, Sydney, Frankfurt, Berlin and Stockholm, to name a few.

  • You have multiple years of experience in software development;
  • You work with modern frontend tools and follow industry standard best practices 
  • You feel comfortable advising/guiding others on front-end development;
  • You have a lot of experience working with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
  • You have worked with CSS preprocessors like Sass/SCSS and understand CSS naming conventions;
  • You have knowledge programming using modern JavaScript/ES and frameworks like React;
  • You are comfortable working within a node.js environment;
  • You have managed code repositories using Git version control;
  • You bring an agile mind-set, you are interested in learning to work with CI/CD, Docker;
  • You have a proactive, goal-oriented, reliable and self-structured way of working;
  • You are a team player, are open-minded, and are highly engaged and invested. You love to learn and try-out new technologies.
