HMC Parking/Commuter Services has an outstanding opportunity for a part time 60% FTE day shift FISCAL TECHNICIAN 2. The Fiscal Technician 2 will process manual or automated fiscal documents, reports and records; compute, reconcile, adjust, review, audit and enter financial data to maintain accounting, cashiering, and department sales records.
Record keeping functions for parking and badging programs.
Assist in completing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual audit tasks.
Support other department financial audit activities.
Back up badging coordinator in printing badges.
Prepare, compile, and provide fiscal reports related to the parking program.
Perform related duties as required.

High school diploma, or GED certificate AND fifteen quarter hours or ten semester hours of college-level accounting or bookkeeping; AND one year of full-time experience as a Fiscal Technician I, or equivalent including keyboarding experience or training. An Associate of Arts Degree, or equivalent, in accounting or business may substitute for six months of required experience.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
Accounting or Fiscal Tech 1 experience .
Must be proficient with Excel.
Demonstrated experience working with financial controls.
