The Job's Mission

Develop mid-term & annual marketing plan and execute the actions collaborating with KOLs, SRs and other functions

Control/manage phase-in & phase-out plan including new product launch projects

Key Activities

Seek sales and profitability objectives of Stryker Japan JR/SRG Business Unit

Motivate SR with appropriate marketing tools like effective training, or brochure and also host marketing events like exhibition, training seminar

Responsible Products:

Power Tool (Large bone& Medium bone)/ Surgical Helmet System (PPE) / Fluid Waste management system/ Smoke evacuation system/ Electric cautery pencil/ Pulse Lavage / Blood Conservation system/ Skin closure device

Accountabilities:

Take initiative in new product launch in collaboration with internal other functions

Development of strategic market plans and initiatives in conjunction with Global

strategies to deliver Japan strategic plans and budgets

Continued expertise in product knowledge, clinical literature, competitor activities and

local market environment to enable tactical selling messages and product positioning to

gain market share

Train and coach internal Sales team to effectively sell on clinical, product and competitor

Knowledge

Monitor, analyze, and evaluate commercial performance, stakeholder input and customer

feedback to effectively execute marketing activities

Collaboration with Sales and Commercial teams to support development and execution of

effective pricing strategy, corporate agreements, and new product launch effectiveness

Management of marketing expense budgets and resource allocation

Establish and maintain local market models for strategic planning and execution

Education

Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

Postgraduate degree (MBA, Master’s) highly regarded

Experience

Marketing experience in medical device industry (at least 3 years)

Competencies

Project management and analytical skill

Deep understanding of traditional marketing strategies

A proven track record in managing product campaigns

The ability to develop business strategies through data analysis and insights

Well-developed relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to manage

multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure
