As a Product Manager, you will optimize our dye, resin and monomers Categories to deliver profitable growth through execution. You will report to the Global Business Director. You will be the first contact for Transitions’ including delivery, quality or regulatory questions. Transitions, a fully-owned subsidiary of Essilor-Luxottica, is the world leader in photochromic prescription eyewear. PPG has an exclusive relationship to develop, scale-up and sell photochromic dyes ($45MM sales at high PC). Other PPG technologies are included in Transitions’ product offering as non-exclusive products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for on time new product introductions providing coordination between customer and PPG teams to ensure execution for all deliverables. 
  • Meet sales plans for captive product categories at Transitions and pricing and maintaining category margins. 
  • Implement product strategies through agreement of sales, technical and operation.
  • “Expert/ Go To” for product and service offerings.
  • Manage product lifecycle.
  • Complexity reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Engineering or Chemistry backgrounds preferred.
  • Travel: 10%
