We are looking for energetic product managers to join our TikTok Seller Commerce team. This team is focused on creating the end to end experience for Merchants who wish to join the platform, including Seller Onboarding, Catalog Management, Logistics, etc. The Seller Commerce team is also working on providing efficient solutions to improve the overall quality of life for Merchants on the platform.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for the Content Creation Tools on our Seller team. In this role you will be responsible for finding the key factors for what motivates sellers to publish short videos or do live shows for promoting their products being sold on TikTok Shop.

What you need to do

  • Partner with designers, engineers, and data scientists to build technology, systems, and products that redefine how our community expresses themselves through the use of short video education and tool products.
  • Identify trends in data, establish product vision, plan short- and long-term roadmaps.
  • Execute throughout the product development process by gathering and defining requirements, writing specs, creating wireframes and workflows, running user studies, conducting AB tests, and coordinating marketing and other launch plans.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates.
  • Ability to think creatively and approach key problems with system-level thinking.
  • Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance and speed of execution.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with AB testing. Experience in ecommerce and ad platform products and creative tools would be a plus.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
  • Skilled in the creation of delightful, polished and performant products for end-users in the US market and on any device.
  • Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years of product management in either e-commerce, or video making, or content making companies.
  • Direct experience working on creative tools with a specialization in AR tools or video editing tools for creators is preferred.
  • Experience with software development, product design, or interaction design.
