Overview
Develop innovative Cordless power tools designs that meet the premium expectations of Snap-on customers.
Responsibilities
- Process PCNs
- Perform computer simulations in CFD, FEA, etc.
- Design complex components to work in assembled systems
- Support engineers and work directly with supplier on tooling and design
- Support manufacturing engineers with current product issues
- Mentor Designers at levels I and II
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ten (10) years relative experience
- Proficient in Creo Parametric
- CAD drafting in 2D & 3D models
- Dimensional tolerancing with strong math and analytical skills
- Mechanical & electrical theory and practical problem solving
- Understand mechanical & electrical drawings
- Knowledge of materials; metals, Plastics, etc.
