Overview

Develop innovative Cordless power tools designs that meet the premium expectations of Snap-on customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process PCNs
  • Perform computer simulations in CFD, FEA, etc.
  • Design complex components to work in assembled systems
  • Support engineers and work directly with supplier on tooling and design
  • Support manufacturing engineers with current product issues
  • Mentor Designers at levels I and II

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ten (10) years relative experience
  • Proficient in Creo Parametric
  • CAD drafting in 2D & 3D models
  • Dimensional tolerancing with strong math and analytical skills
  • Mechanical & electrical theory and practical problem solving
  • Understand mechanical & electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of materials; metals, Plastics, etc.
