Job Summary

The Associate Data Analyst is primarily responsible for executing routine data management tasks. This position maintains the data integrity of engineering data across multiple systems and databases. This role will also have the opportunity to learn and develop data and analytics skills to contribute on more advanced projects.

Performs routine and structured work assignments. Executes routine work assignments in accordance with established procedures and fundamental theories and principles of the job's area of specialization. Contributes to projects and tasks assigned to team, function, or work group. Uses problem-solving techniques to address limited-scope problems of minor complexity. Works under close supervision and follows established guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides basic data QC and related support for reservoir engineering.
  • Create simple datasets, visualizations, and tools within analytical software.
  • Works within economics databases and software
  • Create and maintain custom datasets of technical data as required by the team.
  • Perform data capture processes as necessary to support analytics efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
  • Position will report and work in the Oklahoma City office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Science/Management, Economics, Finance or related degree
  • 2 years’ experience within the Oil and Gas industry working as Engineering Tech, Engineering Specialist, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, IT Analyst or related role.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
