Job Title

Senior Product Manager, Clover Item Management

What should you know about this role?

This is an exciting opportunity to reimagine how merchants manage their core business through Clover. Starting with SKU/item management, we want to provide a seamless experience across the entire ecosystem of web, device, and mobile products. As the product matures, we want to expand into inventory management to provide insights into raw materials and goods that are core to how a business runs. The goal of this role is to help merchants onboard, manage, and grow their business through Clover by creating a best-in-class item/inventory management experience.

You're the kind of person who:

  • Has a track record as an outstanding problem-solver and strategic thinker, and also with a bias to action and execution.
  • Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
  • Extremely organized, with the ability to context switch and manage multiple complex projects at once.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Drive product vision for tracks of work you own, execution, and go-to-market strategy against core business management objectives.
  • Own a significant piece of the core experience focused on helping merchants set up and manage their items as they onboard onto Clover.
  • Partner with the Restaurant team to create the framework for a baseline menu, device specific variations, and day-part menus to support the diverse needs of quick service and full service restaurants.
  • Work with Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Restaurant leadership to create a cohesive strategy, prioritize initiatives, and define how we support more complex use cases for SMBs.
  • Develop business cases for roadmap items to determine ROI and viability – build vs. buy vs. integrate experience a plus.
  • Monitor metrics on a continuous basis, interpret data, and convey opportunities for growth and improvement to the wider team.

Basic Qualifications for consideration:

  • 5+ years of work experience in Product Management roles working with Engineers, Design, and Product Marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of web development; a working understanding of Android and iOS development across various devices.
  • Experience presenting to key stakeholders and partners to influence strategy and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Significant experience in managing the product lifecycle and working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience driving engagement through experimentation, iteration, and learning.
  • You personify product management in how you think, execute, and interact with other teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • SQL skills to pull your own data
  • Experience in the SMB space
