Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Field & Dealer Communications Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.

As a Field & Dealer Communications Specialist you will:

Support, coordinate and develop design, production, and deployment of communications vehicles and plans that convey “right message to right role/persona at right time” via appropriate channels.

Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of medium to large-sized projects and scope (i.e., Dealer Connect). Leads regular status meetings with project teams to identify and minimize any risk on project.
  • Develops and implements communication and multi-layered project work plans for medium to large-sized projects of varying complexity; works with external and internal resources across Field and Dealer Communications team’s projects to contribute to overall strategic direction for organizational communication of products, projects, and brand. Serves as team member of cross-functional event, project, and/or product launch teams.
  • Coordinates information dissemination to field sales members and dealers; supports presentations to various management groups to advance recommendations or communicate program status.
  • Implements process improvement solutions, strategy, and implementation to support manager in developing strategies for content of communication, and communications channels/tools/vehicles.
  • Collaborates with (and educates) other members/departments to maintain consistency among communications plans and of Haworth brand within communications channels. 
  • Coordinates and maintains editorial calendar to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Collaborates with and advises internal teams, including Executives, Customer Service, Operations, Product Line Managers, Sales, to align coordinated communications approach to field sales members and dealers.
  • Audits communications tools and resources, recommending solutions to inconsistent materials, engaging cross-functional teams, including Digital Marketing, Creative Studio, and Dealer Development teams.
  • Tracks elements of strategic communications plans and initiates action to keep plans current, records changes in timelines and/or purpose, keeps audiences update, and keep projects on track. 
  • Provides knowledgeable and effective presentations on areas of expertise during dealer or Field Sales visits to inform and educate individuals on role and purpose of Haworth's Field and Dealer Communications department.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or similar.
  • Four years related experience in marketing, sales, and/or communications project management.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Experience in communications.
  • Experience in video project management.
  • Experience in adobe enterprise management.
  • Experience writing and editing. 
  • Experience working in the office furniture industry.
