We operate country-specific storefronts in 8 countries (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong). 70% of our orders come from mobile devices, one of the highest in retail, while over 90% of our orders come from repeat customers, an indication of strong customer loyalty. Zulily uses 100 new events (mini storefronts) to launch over 9,000 products daily, 30% are which are new, delivering a high degree of freshness to the site. 

About the Supply Chain Tech team: 

Supply Chain Tech (SCT) builds the software that powers both Zulily’s fulfillment network and an increasing part of QVC and HSN’s networks. Our combined fulfillment operations make us the third-largest pure-play ecommerce company in the world, and our build-first software teams create a range of solutions including network-wide inventory, transportation, shipment planning, procurement, and every function within our state-of-the-art fulfillment centers. SOA, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD (actual CD – 20-50 production deployments per day), TDD, monitoring and DR are assumed, and the type of work can be mobile applications, internet-scale services that are deciding how much to buy and when, integrating with robotic storage systems, or a giant traveling salesman problem for optimizing routes for our warehouse pickers. 

Job Description Details 

Responsibilities Include: 

• Hire and develop great Product Managers at all levels 
• Lead the ongoing strategy, definition, adoption, and value generation for your technology products and services 
• Develop, communicate, and manage the strategy and delivery of the full product lifecycle for our Merchandising & Vendor Platforms 
• Oversee the development and delivery of large-scale initiatives which include new products, significant refactoring, and new technology stacks adoption 
• Manage multiple complex products which are broad in scope, interdependent, high risk, high impact, and with various implementation time frames that impact the greater Zulily organization 
• Manage a metrics program with an emphasis on objectives and key results (OKR), monthly business reviews (MBR), A/B testing and measured business value (ROI) 

Qualifications: 

• 5-10 years Product Management experience at a senior level position for a well-known large technology organization 
• 3-5+ years managing people ranging from individual contributors to senior management roles 
• Experience in supply chain and/or warehouse management systems 
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Lead cross-functional teams using Agile and Waterfall methods 
• Proven track record of building high-performance teams 
• Demonstrates exceptional relationship building skills with strong ability to influence others 
• Proven history of working closely with business partners to successfully drive overall company objectives 
• Experience road mapping or performing high level annual planning 
• Demonstrates proven leadership of large end user projects and programs 
• Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering fields; Bachelors in other fields are welcome; MBA, preferred
