They will be responsible for the Development, Tracking and Reporting of the status of the Technology Budget, as well as for the Development and tracking of the Project Schedule for the development of the new SVOD Platform and associated product integrations. Additional responsibilities will include: Support the Product Managers with Roadmap Planning and ensure that the pipeline of work fits the available resources/budget. Fully understand project requirements and the product roadmap and translates these business/product requirements into detailed technical specs for the internal engineering team and external development vendors Responsible for planning and securing resources for tasks, allocation, estimation, scheduling and risk management. Work with leadengineers to ensure that adequate development resources are available to achieve timely delivery of scheduled product initiatives. Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project. If required, handle the recruiting and managing of these temporary resources. Responsible for managing the negotiations and creation of contracts with vendors for technology components (e.g. CDN, DRM) and contract labor/services  Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations Effectively manages project scope by ensuring that any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms. Creates and applies project control techniques that reduce risk Responsible for reporting on project progress throughout the project lifecycle or specific phases within the Solutions Delivery Life cycle (SDLC). Communicates major milestones and identifies potential project risks; conducts regular status meetings to review project activities; manages prioritization procedures. Builds relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion. Act as a mediator between stakeholders and project team members. Relentlessly drive the resolution of any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle Support the VP Technology to manage the expectations and the communication of project status to key executive stakeholders Develops and executes management plans for time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, human resources, procurement and integration Skills Minimum of 7 years project managing an engineering team comprised of developers and QA testers Minimum of 5 years practicing Agile Scrum methodology Strong & demonstrated project management experience with online, mobile, and/or OTT products Minimum of 3 years project managing the development of mobile applications Minimum of 2 years project managing the development of TV applications (e.g. Roku, AppleTV, Connected TV's, Gaming Consoles etc) Minimum of 2 years project managing projects that utilize an Online Video Platform (e.g. thePlatform, Ooyala, Brightcove, Kaltura etc) Strong knowledge of and experience with project management tools and/or software packages like MS Project, Confluence, JIRA, etc. Demonstrated leadership skills with managing people Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development Ability to influence and secure cooperation from senior management and other departments Strong knowledge of software development best practices Minimum of 2 years of actual software programming experience Strong & demonstrated knowledge of web development technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, etc.) Strong knowledge of leading video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, Smooth Streaming, etc.) Strong experience with cloud-based environments Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Self-managing, impeccable follow-thru, multi-tasking College degree required.
