Senior Business Intelligence Analyst-Symantec Lindon, UT Springfield, OR More (-8) Apply Apply with LinkedIn View Application More (-9) Responsibilities The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will leverage Symantec’s resources in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence to key stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and cross-functional teams encompassing global services, IT, support, engineering, finance, marketing, and sales. Additional responsibilities include: • Identify stakeholders, solicit business requirements, and elicit nascent and future use cases. • Facilitate user adoption of BI platforms and tools. • Develop guidelines and SOPs in partnership with the enterprise data architect. • Evangelize bi-modal business intelligence strategies and techniques among users. • Serve as an SFDC subject matter expert and resource to the business intelligence team. • Serve as a CUIC subject matter expert and resource to the business intelligence team. • Conduct ad-hoc research and analyses as required by the business unit. Qualifications  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and driven by a passion to acquire and apply knowledge. • Meticulous in performing all tasks and responsibilities. • Precise and efficient verbal and written communication skills. • Applied knowledge of business intelligence tools; e.g. Oracle and MS SQL and attendant DBMSs, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Excel, etc. • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience is required. Two years of business intelligence, business analysis, or data warehousing experience is required in lieu of a degree. • Professional conduct, strong presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. ====================​====================​ Symantec is an equal opportunity employer.
