DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Located on Leary Way and 15th Ave. NW, UW Medicine Primary & Urgent Care at Ballard is dedicated to providing personalized care throughout all stages of life. Board-certified providers offer a complete spectrum of primary care services six days a week, including family medicine, internal medicine, behavioral health, travel medicine, nutrition services, on-site lab and digital X-ray facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging 

Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information

Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery

Other Duties as Requested

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduation or equivalent AND

One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience

OR

An equivalent combination of education/experience
