Responsibilities
- Manage existing local JV partnerships, relationships with banks, payments, commerce, networks, Fin-Techs and other local collaborating parties
- Track, analyze, influence, support, and communicate Key metrics which relates to JV business growth and corporate governance, co-own and drive JV special projects which are of Ant’s strategic values
- Empower, manage and influence local JV core management team, communicate with JV local shareholders and able to make an impact on directional decisions
- Identify new business opportunities/trends via deep local market/industry understanding and insights, crafting in-country strategies, mapping out implementation plans, and execute upon those to deliver results beneficial for Ant’s local ecosystem expansion
- Being a team leader for Ant’s local task force, able to lead, inspire and drive a team to achieve aggressive business targets within a set timeframe
- Partner with Product, Tech, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, legal, PR/GR and other cross functional teams to solve problems and to successfully launch business initiatives/projects, governing the whole process as an Owner
- Be a culture carrier for the organization, to promote Ant’s vision and mission, motivate, inspire, bring together those who work around you; Be Ant’s local Ambassador, to interface and interact with local regulators, government authorities when necessary
- Coordinate, leverage local resources and networks for the benefit of Big Alibaba/Ant Family business opportunities
Job requirements
- Proven Fintech/Internet industry leader with 10+ years of experience in industry and in region (APAC preferred)
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with an ability to influence, combined with a desire for execution
- Experience in regional business roles with an emphasis on payments and commerce relationships
- Extensive experience on managing high-performing and high-collaborative, cross-culture teams
- Strategic thinkir capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus
- Experience working and negotiating with external business partners and stakeholders
- Strong quantitative abilities and intuition, exceptional analytical skills
- Project management ability and capable of leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Acceptable to frequent travels
