Raytheon Technologies (RTX) in Arlington, Virginia is looking for a NC3 Operational Assessments Analyst to support recurring operational assessments that determine the operational capabilities of the NC3 system of systems for the NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) and the Joint Staff.

As a NC3 Operational Assessments Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be performance of assigned NC3 system objective analysis, observation and data collection during operational assessments, data reduction, and database entry. You will also be involve IT support for the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Database Manager. Some travel required (5%); ability to obtain military aircraft observer qualifications is a plus (water survival training provided).

Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizens with a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Required Experience, Knowledge, and/or Skills:

• Experience and/or familiarity with Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Information Assurance Vulnerabilities (IAVA’s) and other tools using industry best practices.
• DODD 8570.1M/8140 compliant Professional Certification (e.g. Security+, Net+, CEH)
• Working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows, UNIX, Linux).
• Basic DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory experience
• Knowledge of backups, principles, and safeguards
• US Citizen with current/existing DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Desired Experience, Knowledge and/or Skills:

• Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) Administration
• Proficiency in application development for use in data extraction using Visual Basic/C++ or scripting tools
• Database design and management
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with all aspects of information security as it applies to the NISPM, DAAPM NIST SPs, and other government doctrine.
• Familiarity with execution and management of Cyber incident response; preservation,, containment, eradication.
• Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (database design, Information Security, etc).
• Basic scripting
• Combatant Command experience and/or Joint Nuclear Operations experience.
• Experience in the assessment of communications systems with emphasis on systems that support NC3 operations

Education (Including Major)

Bachelors Degree – Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or related field
