Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join us as a Senior Financial Analyst within the RMD Budgets and Rates Organization.

This position’s responsibilities include, but not limited to, planning, forecasting and evaluating incurred costs, tracking overhead expense, headcount, monthly variance reporting and analysis of over/under cost projections. The successful candidate will be required to participate in forward pricing rate submissions, audit inquires, overhead analysis and significant ad hoc studies/projects.

The candidate will serve as the spokesperson for EHS finance and measure actual performance against previous budget figures, establish risk/opportunity and support expense inquires to the organization. In addition, the candidate will reference various types of data sources to control funds and provide proper financial administration, while determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The successful candidate for this role should possess a good financial acumen, along with strong problem solving and communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaborate in a team environment and must be able to effectively multi task within a fast paced deadline driven environment.

Basic Qualifications

• 4 years of professional experience in a related role.
• Professional experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
• APEX/SAP/Business Warehouse/Access knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Required Education (including Major):

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field of study.
