This position is for a Materials Planning and SIOP professional who participates in the supply and demand planning process, and responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area. May work with internal team to develop financial forecasts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead weekly/monthly cross-functional meetings with the objective of streamlining Production, Aftermarket, and Field Service & Repair demand with available supply
  • Own the capable-to-ship plan for Aftermarket and communicate monthly and annual financial latest estimates to senior leadership
  • Ensure Daily Spares plan is managed efficiently and timely to meet latest financial plan and customer on time delivery
  • Oversee work orders for kitting and other miscellaneous assemblies unique to Aftermarket, and Field Service & Repairs to support latest financial estimates and customer on time delivery 
  • Lead daily Gemba Walks and update visual boards with latest data to provide overview of plan vs actual status of the Spares function
  • Act as a liaison between Master Production Schedulers, Value Stream Leaders, Procurement, 3rd Party Packaging, and Production Control to negotiate Production, Aftermarket, and Field Service & Repairs priorities to support short-term planning goals
  • Develop and manage a rolling 24-36-month equipment and labor capacity strategy to support Field Service & Repair and Aftermarket demand to ensure optimal utilization, efficiency, and productivity is achieved
  • Drive process improvements for material flow and material planning
  • Ensure accurate SAP inventory control transactions are performed as well as manage and create inventory transfers for both Field Service & Repair and Aftermarket
  • Develop and implement an inventory strategy to support Field Service & Repair and Aftermarket as an input to the PFEP (Plan-for-Each-Part)
  • Establish standard work, develop processes and methods to collect, monitor, and report critical KPIs for both Aftermarket, and Field Service & Repairs
  • Create and maintain a rolling historical and forward-demand-based attach rate analysis between Production-Aftermarket-Field Service & Repair to provide recommendations of demand management adjustments
  • Provide recommendations to the Master Scheduling/Production Control Manager to optimize all key SAP Material Master planning parameters for Aftermarket to include safety time in support of enabling ability to ship early and realize additional sales
  • Work with the Field Service and Repair team, as required, to help ensure all necessary transactions to induct, repair, and upgrade customer return assets
  • Support achievement of ACE Gold activities, as required
  • Execute tasks associated with the site macro plan objectives and site business plan, as required
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and management system, the importance of conforming to EHS policies and procedures and consequences of failing to comply with EHS policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties, as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Business; Prefer concentration in Materials Management OR Supply Chain disciplines
  • APICs CSCP or CPIM Certification preferred
  • IBF: Certified Forecasting Professional Certification preferred
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certifications preferred
  • Demand Driven Institute DDLP: Demand Driven Planner Professional preferred
  • SAP Experience highly desired
  • Business Objects, Tableau highly desired
  • Experience with advanced analytical tools: VBA, PowerPivot, Power Query, and/ or SQL
