Come join our team of highly skilled engineers performing Radar functional and performance analysis of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). In this role, you will perform BMDS performance analysis utilizing large-scale complex BMDS Modeling and Simulation tools and utilize the results in support of MDA Ground Test and Flight Test events. Document analysis results in reports and briefings to be presented to internal stakeholders and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) representatives. Support analysis teams and will serve as a mentor to less experienced team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support Ground Test and Flight Test activities
  • Participate in peer reviews
  • Generate test documentation (Test Plan, Test Reports, etc)

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in an engineering discipline and at least 2+ years in systems engineering or related experience
  • Understanding of radar signal and data processing
  • Experience as a radar systems engineer
  • Strong MATLAB knowledge and experience
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity X-Band radar technology (such as AN/TPY-2, SBX, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Early Warning radar technology (UEWR, Cobra Dane, etc)
  • Experience with root cause analysis of radar systems and interoperability
  • Active Secret clearance

Required Education (including Major):

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related discipline
