Manufacturing Documentation Services (MDS) is searching for a Technical Support Specialist to join the group of professionals responsible for maintaining and releasing Manufacturing Data/Documentation Packages (MDP) to production. You will work with systems of record (PRISM and PDM, product data management) as well as business tools of Visiprise Management (VM) and Virtual Business Systems (VBS) to assure revision alignment exists between the Technical Document Package (Drawings, Parts Lists, Specifications) and the MDPs (Assembly Instructions, Shop Floor Route Sheets, Engineering Bills of Materials) and vault approved process sheets in PDM and related Work Instruction Servers.

Technical Support Specialists are also involved in Company Records Retention Reviews of warehoused documents to assist in the determination of retain or destruct orders.

This position can be a Salary Grade G03 or Salary Grade G04 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in manufacturing including document data management
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Desired Skills:

• Configuration Management and Data Management Experience
• Experience working with SAP platforms
• Experience working with PTC Technology Platforms of cPDM (Common Product Data Management) and/or MPMLink.
• Experience with MS Office Products (particularly Excel and Word)
• Existing Confidential Security Clearance
• College Coursework, Associates Degree
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Professional
• PRISM and Product Data Manager (PDM) User
