Within Retail Banking Services (RBS) The Everyday Banking product team are focused on profitably and growing our transaction, savings & term deposits product portfolios. The Product Design and Distribution (PDD) team is responsible for leading the Group to enhance its product governance lifecycle and drive improved customer outcomes through greater awareness and understanding of product suitability.

As Senior Manager, Product Owner, your role is to lead the group Program through its transition to the new Product Design and Distribution requirements. This will include managing and co-ordinating the creation of all Target Market Determinations (TMDs) for every product across each line of business, working closely with each business Product Manager allocated to this Program. It will also include the co-ordination of all TMD related marketing requirements and Product TMD storage requirements from a Program level. 

You will also be responsible for identifying, raising and managing emerging risks as part of your core role.

More specifically you will:

• Manage and co-ordinate the creation of all Product Target Market Determinations in scope across the Group at a Program level, working closely with all allocated Product Managers
• Manage the Program strategy in relation to the storage of all Product Target Market Determinations and work closely with digital technology teams to ensure a compliant solution is rolled out.
• Manage all product teams working with all Marketing teams across every impacted Line of Business to ensure all relevant marketing material is updated to include reference to the TMDs across all promotion and campaign material
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

We want to hear from people who have

• Risk Mindset –All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
• Experience in either Product management, Marketing or both.
• Highly effective communication and influencing skills.
• Previous experience working in the finance industry is preferred.
• A tertiary degree in a relevant field, such as business, law, science, IT, Finance
