Cyber Security is part of the Enterprise Services (ES) business unit at Commonwealth Bank.
The Cyber Security team protects the Bank and our customers from cyber compromise, through proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.
Our role is to keep our Group and customer data safe, sound and secure.
Your new role
As a Senior Manager - Identity Access Management, you will be accountable for leading and managing a team to achieve the following (but not limited to):
- The establishment, management and documentation of effective controls, including development, testing and evaluation for a new Identity and Access Management platform for the Group;
- Coach and mentor your team to understand the importance of effective control management and the broader impacts to the Bank
- Support the Executive Manager in providing Controls advise in order to respond to requests from senior management and external parties such regulators
- Managing Identity Lifecycle risks in line within the Operational Risk Management Framework;
- Working with the business, risk management and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliance with Group IAM Policies, risk standards and regulatory obligations;
- Embedding risk and control culture across our business stakeholders;
- Educating the Identity Lifecycle team, business stakeholders and project delivery teams on the importance of an adequate control environment;
- Execution of process deep-dive activities to understand and document key process steps, identify key risks and controls and importantly, to identify and remediate control gaps.
- Ensure future control state objectives are in-line with the Bank’s key remediation programs of work
- Translate current state gapes into requirements for the IAM Uplift Program to ensure they are addressed in the future state
- Provide Control SME support to project delivery teams, IAM service teams, IAM Operational teams and key business stakeholders
- Provide ongoing education and support to control owners across the Group to guide them as they transition to the new IAM Control environment effectively
Your Experience:
Experience working in an Identity and Access Management delivery or services team for a financial institution or a large corporate or a Risk and Controls team that was ideally supporting a large scale IT or Identity function. Deep understanding on Risks and Controls.
