An opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer currently exists within SVTAD's Ship and Radar Systems Integration (SRSI) Department in Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA. The individual will be the Test Tools & Analysis Lead on SVTAD’s Technical Staff, and will be responsible for coordinating between program teams in order to develop, update, and maintain a common MATLAB analysis tool suite that can be leveraged between current and future programs. The individual will work closely with SVTAD’s TestForward team to implement the tool suite, and will provide periodic status to the SVTAD Technical Staff Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate between program teams to develop, update, and maintain a common MATLAB analysis tool suite
  • Develop and maintain the infrastructure to support analysis tool suite integration with other FOSS programs
  • Support the development of regression suites to be utilized in Agile development environments
  • Tailor the tool suite and deploy to new programs
  • Support analysis training for new hires and other SVTAD employees

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • High level of experience with MATLAB programming
  • Experience with radar systems analysis
  • Experience with test and analysis automation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related technical discipline
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Sensor Product Line (SPL), Naval, and Missile Defense program experience
  • Experience in radar systems test environments, and in development of test scripts and procedures
  • Experience with testing in an AGILE environment
  • Experience with Cucumber, MySQL, and/or Grafana
  • Experience with DOORS or a related database
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or a related technical discipline

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
