Seeking a successful candidate to facilitate and integrate the program planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on various projects. Understands the engineering development processes to develop logical program plans while working with program management, business management, contracts personnel, senior engineering/technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations and customer representatives. Contributes to the continued improvement and implementation of new project planning and scheduling concepts, techniques, policies and procedures to meet Program Management and customer requirements. Establishes and maintains schedule baselines; helps to facilitate the development of the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and program team structure. Primary responsibilities include executing the recurring program business rhythm (weekly and monthly), including schedule status, related analysis and chart preparation. The candidate needs to understand key program milestones and “major decision points,” and appreciate the significance of accomplishments and criteria (achievable, objective, of interest to the customer, comprehensive, explicit). Performs related variance analysis and possesses an understanding of related EVMS/scheduling policies. Understands schedule critical path and performs related analysis. Articulates schedules to the customer, works with engineers on key items in the schedule to develop alternatives in order to improve the critical path and probabilities of success (e.g., develop alternate paths, define interim products, and increase parallelism). The candidate will provide data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews and prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding schedule variances.

The candidate will assist various managers (planning managers, program managers, engineering managers, etc.) in ad hoc tasking as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen with current/existing TS/SCI security clearance
  • 4+ years of business operations experience
  • Extensive experience with EVMS
  • Ability to determine and communicate critical path and perform analysis
  • Experience managing program plans in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with risk analysis
  • Experience with Rolling Wave Planning
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools, including the ability to use MS Excel to analyze schedule data
  • Accuracy and attention to details are essential and must be able to work well with others, work independently, and respond to short deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • Raytheon Technologies Earned Value Certification
  • Experience with the Raytheon PMX Tool Suite, including cost/schedule integration

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional, applicable experience).
