Electro-Mechanical Assembler Associate Senior

We are seeking successful candidate who can, under limited supervision, perform duties which include but are not limited to performing system and sub assembly level repairs, builds, and upgrades by following Assembly Instructions and working to drawings. Candidate must be able to follow written and verbal direction, read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, connector pin outs, solder and build various types of boards, wires and wire harnesses by laying out wires, lacing, crimping and populating various connectors. Must be able to use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons. Knowledge and Understanding of IPC-A-620 Wire and Cable Requirements & J-STD-001 Soldering Requirements is a plus.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of applicable experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to perform a variety of operations to assemble/rework/modify electronic and electromechanical products to include:
  • Works from diagrams and drawings.
  • Perform circuit card assembly and repair including hole components.
  • Use hand tools such as crimpers, cutters, and soldering irons.
  • Willing and able to work in industrial environment
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted.
  • Good eyesight (corrected or uncorrected) with ability to distinguish color
  • Must be willing and able to sit for long periods of time, as the majority of the work is performed in a sitting position.
  • Must be willing and able to stand and work, as on occasion may perform duties in a standing position.

Desired Skills

Computer experience.

High school, secondary school or equivalent
