Job Description:
The Verona Sensor System Senior Program Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of product area execution, financial management, customer interface and support business growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide top-level leadership in development and execution of Verona sensor system: 5 year financial plans, AOP, Assigned investment resources, IPDS Gates.
- Provide leadership to IPTL’s to ensure that contract deliverables are met, customer satisfaction is strong, and other costs are minimized.
- Employ appropriate Program Management Best Practices and tools. Represents Program at Program Management Reviews and Program Performance Reviews.
- Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to direct and indirect reports.
- Represent the company to the customer, provides program status to customers, gathers "voice of the customer" information and customer assessment data to share with the team for use in solution development.
- Build and maintain relationships and networks with other companies and with other RTN businesses as required
- Promote and brand Space Systems in national symposiums, conferences, trade shows or other venues.
Required Skills:
Minimum 12 years of related working experience as program manager or IPTL, including Earned Value Management
- Experience in managing development or space development programs
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Secret/Top Secret/SCI with current SSBI and contingent on being able to secure special access
- Must obtain conditional Program Management Certification, accordance with RP-248
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including a matrixed environment
- Ability to influence and motivate team members and peers
- Ability to partner in matrixed organizations to ensure successful program execution
- Ability to lead strategic and tactical initiatives as well as matrixed teams and staff
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Project management skills

- Advanced Technical degree
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science or related technical discipline
