OurLogistics Systems Engineer will bean integral partof the Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) team interfacing directly with WLED,IDS, and customer program leaders.

As a Logistics Systems Engineer, you’reresponsible for the development and maintenance ofdetailed supportability analysis and provisioning data of all hardware within a specific product line. You will apply advanced logistics principles, theories, and concepts to develop complex program level concepts and plans and implement the successful execution of these plans. In addition, you’ll work to under consultative direction to develop solutions to complex logistics problemsthat require theuse of ingenuity and creativity in helping to reach long term goals and objectives.

This position can be a Salary Grade G07 or a Salary Grade G08 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position requires the eligibilityto obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US citizens are eligible for security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional experience related to this job description
  • Experience working independently as a lead or project manager
  • US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with relational databases developing and updating Macros
  • Experience in the Development and Maintenance of Logistics Management Information (LMI)in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-2B, GEIA-STD-0007, or MIL-PRF-49506
  • Experience & understanding in one of the following area's of the Technical Data Package (drawings,parts lists, and electrical schematics) and experience generating/interpreting Parts List
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with application team and developers
  • Experience utilizing EAGLE, POWERLOG or SLICWave tools
  • Development and Maintenance of Logistics Plans
  • Spares Analysis and Spares List Development
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification and application
  • Experience working with and manipulation of relational databases
  • Experience with Microsoft Access to include functions such as Advanced query design, Form design, Charting, Report generation and Data import/export
  • US Military - supply chain familiarity
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling tools such as Solidworks or CreoView
  • "Hands on" experience with hardware repair and maintenance a plus
  • Experience working multiple projects
  • Experience working on Microsoft Office applications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
