Raytheon Technologies in Marlborough, MA is seeking Field Engineer to join the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration, and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) Program to manage the planning and execution of all logistics, sustainment, budgets and maintenance activities performed by Field Service Representatives (FSR) and Engineering teams. The ATNAVICS Mission Support Lead must be able to analyze equipment failures to determine cause, develop specification compliant solutions and recommend corrective actions utilizing Raytheon technical and/or vendor documentation. They are the direct link between the customer, the FSRs, the Engineering teams and program management so solid communication skills are necessary. Experience or knowledge of en-route and/or terminal control systems is a plus. This position requires interaction with internal and external customers.

The position requires key support to a broad spectrum of logistics and sustainment activities. The position will represent the war fighter perspective in support of system logistics, spares, and sustainment design. Moderate domestic and international travel is required to ensure coordination with the support teams.

Required Skills:

  • Four year college degree or 10 years of experience is required if you have a 2 year degree. 16 years of experience with a High School diploma.
  • 6 years of engineering experience
  • Leadership experience with direct support to a fleet of fielded systems, both CONUS and OCONUS
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and schematic drawings is required. Ability to work independently and in a group environment to troubleshoot and repair complicated electronics/computer systems is also required.
  • Experience in presenting to management and customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Scheduling, Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Able to travel, occasional domestic and international travel in support of the program

Desired Skills:

  • Two (2)+ years of experience with Air Traffic system functions to include such responsibilities as sustainment, spares and material management, repair and upgrade, depot/field engineering, training curriculum and technical manual support
  • Understanding of US military customer logistics and sustainment
  • Experience working in the field, independently as a Field Service Engineer or representative
  • Prior experience with deployment in support of Raytheon Radar and/or Radar Automation Systems including ATNAVICS, FBPAR, DASR and/or the AutoTrac series of automation systems
  • Familiarity with UNIX and/or Linux operating systems to the command line level

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Applied Physics or equivalent experience

This position requires either a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization and obtain a Secret Security Clearance (apply on first day)
