We are searching for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us as an electrical systems engineer to support the design, development, verification & validation, and operational support of ECLSS and ATCS hardware for future space vehicles.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • System development trade studies and optimization
  • Creation of electrical system/controller functional block diagrams
  • Development of concepts of operations
  • Development of product requirements at the system/component level for electrical hardware/software
  • Electrical system modeling Steady state & transient performance analyses
  • Electrical system/controller/
  • FPGA verification
  • Planning/procedures/reports including integrated development testing and FPGA DVT testing

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
  • Relevant component hardware experience: electrical systems, motors/motor controllers, electrical boards, actuators, sensors, power supplies, FPGAs
  • Ability to work well both independently and within an integrated product development (IPD) team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent writing & math skills
  • Must be a US Person

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing electric system analyses
  • Experience on hardware development program: proposal/development/manufacture/verification/operational support
  • Experience performing system development/integration/architecting

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required
