Raytheon Missiles & Defense seeks a highly motivated, hands-on engineer for a technical project lead position in the Test Development Department (TDD); a team focused on creating test equipment for Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) products.
TDD is responsible for leading and executing multiple diverse technical projects across a broad spectrum of DoD programs. We are seeking engineers who have (i) applicable technical expertise (ii) demonstrated experience leading a technical team or have the desire to do so. Technical and/or financial project management experience is desirable for this role.
A technical project lead is responsible for overseeing the design, development and deployment of Test Equipment. Typical responsibilities include the financial oversight of labor and material spending, providing technical direction to engineers, and reporting project status to peers and program leadership. This role requires the application of technical and leadership skills to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met, and that technical challenges and risks are properly communicated to leadership.
TDD is a cross functional team of multi-disciplined engineers who enjoy being a part of the entire product development life cycle. TDD works with a wide variety of assembly levels ranging from CCA to sub-assemblies to full systems. You’ll join a hands-on development team that fosters engineering excellence and creativity, and takes pride in seeing the end product in the hands of the customer.
Be a part of a diverse project team responsible for the design, deployment and sustainment of test solutions for radar, sonar, communication, missile, and combat control systems. Projects emphasize flexible and scalable capabilities including efficient, automated product handling.
