Raytheon Technologies is looking for a senior-level experienced Material Program Manager III located in Huntsville, AL in support of the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Mission Area responsible for the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program. In this role, you’re the liaison between Supply Chain and the program Integrated Product Team, must have a strong leadership background and ability to communicate and influence individuals at the Director level.
The successful leader will set material strategies; proposal and execution of contracts; coordinate Material Planning, Hardware Management Teams, Integrated Product Team Leads and Engineers. Applicants for this position must have at least 10 years’ experience and/or extensive knowledge in procurement, contracts, production control, logistics and program material strategy, financial execution of material requirements, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
The selected candidate will be accountable for creating a vision around key suppliers for our program including strategy for complex procurements, driving systemic improvements for material flow and accountability, and instilling a “can-do” sense of ownership and alignment between the Supply Chain Team and the Program and Functional Organizations. This role will require the ability to extract critical information from complex development situations in order to find resolutions and path to closure. Executive presence and leadership are key for customer and senior Raytheon briefings.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
