Position overview
As a 3rd SHIFT Manufacturing Technician (10:30pm-7am), your responsibilities will be to:
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to improve processes
- Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products. Determine causes of operational problems or failures; implement corrective actions
- Comply with all environmental, health and safety requirements
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.
- Collect hazardous or non-hazardous waste in correctly labeled barrels or other containers and transfer them to satellite areas.
- Support quality calibration process to maintain compliance
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products
- Determine causes of operational problems or failures
- Maintain inventory of process materials
- Provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors
Education / Certifications
HS Diploma or GED
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, or relevant education and work experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Some familiarity of statistical process control preferred
- Familiar with for analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement
- Willingness to work overtime, if necessary
NOTE THAT THIRD SHIFT HOURS ARE FROM 10:30pm-7am. TRAINING WILL BE DONE ON FIRST SHIFT. YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL PAY.
