Raytheon Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate to join our distinguished AMS team to be the IPT Deputy SEIT Lead for the AMS Euphoria program. The Systems Engineer is responsible, along with the SEIT Lead, for ensuring the technical baselines are well defined and lead the transformation of the organization into modern approaches to development and test.
This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus of up to 40k for a candidate with a current TS/SCI that can be verified and hired.
Job Description:
- Responsible for budget, schedule, and technical execution of systems engineering activities on the Euphoria program. This SE is responsible for making sure the system comes together technically and meets the requirements and CONOPS the Customer has defined.
- Responsible for ensuring that Engineering contributes to the successful execution of technical baselines.
- The SE will be focused on evaluating and driving critical requirements into the program baseline and ensuring the systems engineering, software and hardware development and design activities, information assurance, integration, test, transition and operational needs are satisfied to contract compliance.
- Provide oversight and review technical performance metrics. Provide summary analysis and action plans to ensure engineering technical performance is in line with the Customer performance expectations and ensure application of Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) as a means for measuring technical progress and assessing risk.
- The SE will ensure program and pursuit lead engineer execute consistently for Engineering Review Board change management, integration of Customer driven change and ensure any defect management across the system is handled via fault management and performance management actions
- Identify and exploit synergies across the program and pursuits.
- Ensure the engineering baseline is horizontally and vertically consistent across the baseline.
Required Skills:
- Required skills and experience as a Lead Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer or Program Engineer or as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead on a major program
- 12 years of related work experience required
- Experience performing and/or managing large software and systems development programs across multiple environments
- Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with a strong focus on Large Scale Software Development, Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Executive level communication skills
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence the decision making process. Collaborate across the organization and operate effectively within a matrix environment by resolving conflict and influencing others
- Significant experience working with suppliers in technical and/or programmatic oversight role
- Experience with effective communication with customer
- Experience in all phases of program lifecycle
- Significant experience in Risk and Opportunity management
- TS/SCI Security Clearance required

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or related STEM degree program from an Accredited University/School/College with 10+ years of relevant work experience
