Job Description:

Electrical Subsystems Directorate (ESD) is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to engineer complex RF systems, subsystems and components. A successful candidate is one who can participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. This is an entry-level Electrical Engineer position for an individual with educational experience and professional interest in the application of technical RF standards, principles, concepts, and techniques.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Education/Skills:

• Master of Arts or Master of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree.
• Must be either currently pursuing a required degree or required degree must have been granted within the last 18 months.
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Solid background and practical understanding of RF systems design considerations (to include experience or relevant course work).
• Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, System Vision, MATLAB, MathCad, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Advanced Design System (ADS).
• ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
• 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
