Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) is seeking an Engineering Technologist. This person will have reporting responsibilities to Department Managers and Section Heads with Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Department. This position will interface with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL), program managers and stake holders, within multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects.

As a member of the SI&T Department, this position will assist in leading and managing the implementation of key Model Based Engineering (MBE) strategic projects and day-to-day implementation of requirements within multiple engineering projects and programs.

The ideal candidate will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. In the position, the Engineering Technologist must be able to collaborate with customers, employees, and senior leaders when implementing process and procedural changes. Candidates should have a high situational awareness, strong emotional intelligence, and be able to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously with diverse groups and customers.

Responsibilities Include:

• MBE Model Management; provide direction for engineering users on established models.
• Assist with the coordination and implementation of engineering models.
• Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets.
• Provide process support to Department and White Space Teams.
• Develop corrective action plans, lessons learned and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including program implementation goals.
• Responsible for safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
• Develop and implement communication plans; providing consulting support to functional and program management.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree of Science, Information Science, Business Communication, Business Intelligence, or related degree.
• Experience with project planning and managing deliverables.
• Experience with complex systems which consist of multi-functional interdependencies.
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Desired Education and Skills:

• Experience understanding compliance processes
• Experience with Model Based Engineering Tools (Rhapsody, Magic Draw, etc.)
• Demonstrate experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated experience working in a challenging, fast-paced, team environment
• Effective professional written/oral communication and interpersonal relations skills
• Strong analytical skills and report development abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with our customers interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
