System Administrator Tier 2 Support Engineer
- The successful candidate will provide Systems Administration Tier 2 support to a deployed data center ensuring the program customer has access to same day imagery to meet mission needs
- Support window will be 10-hours per day, 4 days per week rotational schedule (9:00 pm EST - 7:00 am EST).
- Provides Tier 2 support to include: software monitoring and patching; identification and diagnosis of general software issues; and communicating with program users
Location: Tampa, FL or Richardson, TX
Required Skills:
- Must have and maintain a current active Top Secret SCI with a CI Poly clearance
- Experience in system and/or network administration (UNIX, Linux, Windows)
- Experience in writing basic scripts on Linux and Windows Server platforms to move data, update databases, and perform other general administrative tasks
- Experience in software monitoring and patching; identification and diagnosis of general software issues; and communicating with program users
- Understanding of support functions involving the daily Operational and Sustainment of the operational systems (software monitoring and patching; identification and diagnosis of general software issues; and communicating with program users)
- Experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components
- Ability to work a 10-hour per day, 4 days per week rotational schedule (Arabia Standard Time), 9:00 pm EST - 7:00 am EST
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 12 years of applicable professional experience in lieu of a degree is required.
Clearance Requirement:
A current TS/SCI with Poly
