Job Description:
This is a multifaceted security position that will serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) of a large and highly complex Raytheon Technologies facility located in Tewksbury, MA. The selected candidate should possess a multi-disciplined security background as she/he will ensure implementation of all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). In addition to the regular FSO duties at the main Tewksbury campus, candidate will also directly manage a team of up to eight (8) industrial security professionals and oversee the security program of two off-site facilities. Selected candidate will report directly to the Raytheon Missiles and Defense Industrial Security Lead for the Northern and Capital Regions.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance required on day one of employment.
Required Skills:
- Possess an excellent range of management abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and comfort briefing at all levels.
- Administer the company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information.
- Serve as the facility's Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and administer the local Insider Threat Program.
- Conduct self-audits and coordinates with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
- Write policy and procedures to enforce compliance with government and Company requirements.
- Investigate security violations and prepare detailed administrative inquiries and develop procedures to preclude future recurrence.
- Coordinate with government agencies to obtain authorizations, interpretations, and acceptable deviations with regulations.
- Maintaining the information management system for control of classified materials.
- Lead security incident response and workplace violence team
- Provide guidance, subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel
- Current DoD Top Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Security or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of Facility Security Officer experience managing a complex facility
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong National Industrial Security Program experience and expertise
- Uncompromising ethics and integrity
- Proven experience interacting positively with Defense Security Service or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Criminal Justice from an accredited University or College
