An exciting opportunity is now available for a Core Enterprise Systems Technical Lead specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. The Core Enterprise System Technical Lead (CRM) will play a leading role in activities across the entire application lifecycle from discovery through to deployment, and ongoing end-to-end management and support.

Through provision of deep technical expertise in enterprise system design, implementation and optimisation, the Core Enterprise System Technical Lead (CRM) translates business needs and requirements into software solutions and acts as the stakeholder’s advisor and the authority on how specific application or process design can add business value, while ensuring the platform supports the business needs from a project delivery, architecture standard, compliance and audit perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Takes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development:
  • Defines, documents and carries out projects or sub-projects alone or with a small team, actively participating in all phases.
  • Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology.
  • Coordinates and manages planning of the system and/or acceptance tests, including software security testing, within a development or integration project or programme.
  • Maintains application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures and contributes to the creation of reports, technology road mapping and the sharing of knowledge and insights.
  • Demonstrates a focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attends to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time and ensure commitments are met on schedule.

Skills, Experience and Qualification

  • University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or Business (with a significant component of IT).
  • MCSA: Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, and additional Microsoft certifications are highly desirable and a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience.
  • Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritising, coaching and process execution.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills specifically within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
  • Experience in platform development and operation with an emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience of enterprise application integration, architecture patterns and leading a small team of IT developers in all facets of application systems development and support.
