Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) has a requirement for a Lifecycle and Maintenance Manager experienced in Army operations, logistics and Sub-supplier management requirements, to include processes for accountability of equipment, management of vendors, knowledge of MAXIMO and information management skills in support of the ARCENT TSS effort for US Forces—Kuwait. Job Description:
The Lifecycle and Maintenance Manager will be primary POC for vendors supporting ARTC, Training Village and Fleet Maintenance, and will act as the Primary logistics planner. He/she will also coordinate of all logistical support requirements involving both Raytheon and subcontractor support actions in Kuwait.
Required Hours:
Standard work week will be six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s), and a standard 40 hour work week while at CONUS work sites.
Responsibilities:
The Lifecycle and Maintenance Manager reports directly to the Program Manager and shall be responsible for the following:
- Provide leadership and direction for all vendors in support of Training Village readiness and ensuring that training activities are fully resourced.
- Collaborate with the Training Support Team (TST) to ensure a centralized, integrated and systematic area improvement and management methodology is incorporated to improve and maintain the ARTC footprint.
- Establish priorities and coordinate the daily operational requirements with logistical operators in the areas of vendor support, maintenance and fleet management.
- Provide technical advice and subject matter expertise for all logistics activities and functions. Interface with the Government, subcontractors and local vendors to ensure training is fully resourced.
- Provide grammatically correct and succinct documents and reports as required.
- Assist with Maximo input, and tracking of supplies, parts, work orders and purchase orders as applicable.
- Develop and sustain administrative and logistical reports; routinely reporting to the Program Manager on the status of all vendor support, ARTC and Training Village Maintenance activities.
- In coordination with functional area members and Teammates across the team, develop a short-term and long-term strategy to improve efficiency in supporting all training requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience directly managing operations in government and commercial defense markets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Management processes and related systems including subcontract management, supply and asset management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Knowledge of Maximo
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience as a Logistics and/or Administrative Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer
- Experience in working on various contracts with the U.S. Government
- Experience with Sub-supplier and vendor management
- Experience with program management body of knowledge
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Training, Management, Business or a related field from an accredited school & six (6) years of related experience, OR four (4) years related experience with Master's degree. Eight (8) years of additional equivalent work experience (14 total years) may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement.
Contractor personnel shall comply with all theater command policies, regulations, and General Orders. All tours are unaccompanied.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance.
