THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Description and Responsibilities:
- Occasional travel to multiple locations
- Develop and manage property budgets
- Performs routine inspections of property records to ensure 100% accountability
- Coordinates staffing support and schedules for all property audits and inventories
- Routinely interfaces with DOI, DCMA and other government agency personnel
- Approves periodic government required reports relative to government property including monthly metrics for internal control monitoring and planning
- Ensures completion of property management training by all new hires and annual refresher training for existing staff members supporting the XCTX program
- Oversee the roll-out and operation of an automated asset management system and support all client and vendor requests related to this capability
Provide briefings and demonstration support to client visits and meetings
- Provide lessons learned and recommendations for continual improvement of exercise support capabilities, effectiveness and efficiency
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years experience including 2 years leadership experience
- Familiarity with military training systems/events and U.S. Army property accountability procedures strongly desired
- Knowledge of FAR, DCMA, DCAA, or IUID, PCARSS and others as applicable
- Experience with work flow analysis and process optimization
- Demonstrates good oral/written communication, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact effectively with people of varying technical abilities (engineers, technicians, and military personnel)
- Shows initiative with an emphasis on team building
- Identifies potential and emerging problems with both equipment and personnel
- Able to perform well and adapt in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
