THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
The Property Administrator I will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with applicable government regulations or corporate policy.
- Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
- Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; implements property administration policy; Assist in the preparation of periodic and special purpose reports
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and champion for 100% accountability to exercise teams and product development personnel for all government & corporate property accountability procedures.
- Implement a comprehensive program of logistics management in compliance with contractor Solutions policy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), in support of the Property Manager and Property Administrator.
- Facilitate the process for investigating equipment loss or destruction, assign accountability, and recommend remedial measures to prevent future losses in support to the Property Administrator.
- Facilitate property management training for all new hires and annual refresher training for existing staff members supporting the XCTC program.
- Serve as a SME for the automated asset management system and support all client and vendor requests related to this capability.
- Support daily depot activities: maintenance, shipping, receiving, issue, installation, inventory control, cleaning, organizing, and forklifting of all equipment.
- Provide input and assist with implementation of warehouse operations standard operating procedures (SOPs) for exercise support.
- Assist with exercise planning tasks as required.
- Provide manpower and cost estimation inputs to sustainment budgets.
- Provide lessons learned and recommendations for continual improvement of exercise support capabilities, effectiveness and efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 years of property control experience (military preferred)
- Familiarity with military training systems/events and U.S. Army property accountability procedures strongly desired
- Experience with group activity coordination
- Experience with work flow analysis and process optimization
- Documentation and technical writing skills desired
- Forklift and HazMat experience/certification strongly desired
- Demonstrates good oral/written communication, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact effectively with people of varying technical abilities (engineers, technicians, and military personnel)
- Shows initiative with an emphasis on team building
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and secures buy-in from team members
- Identifies potential and emerging problems with both equipment and personnel
- Able to perform well and adapt in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel as needed
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Business Administration or similar field. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted (Bachelor Degree = 8 additional years applicable experience).
