Overview:
Electrical Products is seeking a Digital Hardware & FPGA Design Engineer. The Digital Hardware & FPGA Design Engineer will report to the Receiver Exciter and Signal Processing (RESP) Department, supporting the Multi-Function RF System (MFRFS) product line located in McKinney, Texas.
Job Summary:
The Digital Hardware & FPGA Design Engineer job responsibilities include deriving unit and module level requirements from system level requirements, developing associated architectures, implementing design, performing analysis and testing of the FPGA, module, and/or unit in a laboratory setting. He/she will be familiar with latest technology trends in the area of microprocessor, memory, FPGA and interface protocols. The Digital Hardware & FPGA Design Engineer must be experienced in all aspects of circuit card and FPGA design from concept through delivery to higher-level assemblies as evidenced by multiple successful design completions (including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry standard interfaces). The role of Digital Hardware & FPGA Design Engineer requires cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, systems, and embedded software engineering teams.
This position will require the ability to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
