Job Description:

We are seeking an Engineering Section Manager and IPTL for our Hardware Engineering. This position supports the SSS (Secure Sensor Solutions) Airborne Early Warning & Reconnaissance Systems (AEWRS) & Resilient Navigation Systems (R-NAV) Electronics department. The primary role will be functional management, technical direction and program leadership on critical programs for either AEWRS or R-NAV sub-systems. Individual must be proficient in the design and development of state-of-the-art receiver products with hands on design experience. Also required is extensive technical expertise from concept through production of Analog and Digital Hardware. Successful candidate should be very capable of developing requirements for subsystem, unit and module products and perform allocations/architecture trades. Technical experience should include architectural, conceptual and hands-on design of receivers or GPS products at Circuit Card Assembly level.

Experience should include functional & team management, including team leadership, staffing, staff management, performance & career development, team development, Cost estimate proposals, etc. Additional roles include interface with customer and program office, IPTL & earned value management.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands on industry experience in Analog & Digital hardware design & development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in System design, subsystem design, and architectural (functional and physical) trade analysis of Receivers, exciter & related products.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in functional and team management of Electrical hardware engineers.
  • Experience leading proposals including development of technical solution and writing portions of both technical and cost volumes
  • Ability to perform trade study of Analog & Digital hardware products
  • Ability to manage projects and provide team leadership to execute under cost and within schedule.
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. DOD Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to access US only data systems.
