If hired the candidate will be a member of the Raytheon Intelligence and Space Systems Engineering Center. The Euphoria program is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer (LSE). The Lead Systems Engineer is lead technical member of the SEIT team. The LSE is responsible for directing the technical efforts of the team. The LSE coordinates with the CE and CA to ensure the technical solution aligns with program expectations. The LSE works with the CE and CA to identify early technical concepts to fulfill evolving needs on the program. LSE is an externally facing customer POC for technical issues, interacting with both the acquisition customer and end user customers to shape expectations, explain technical approaches/solutions, and advocate for mission changes.
The LSE will be responsible for the quality of the technical baseline and ensures the baseline meets or exceeds program requirements. The LSE will provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to the software and test personnel. The LSE may perform systems engineering analyses including CONOPs definition, trade studies, algorithm development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement validation and verification. The LSE will attend technical interchange meetings (TEMs) as well as other program meetings attended by the prime and other teammates. The LSE will support the Engineering Review Board (ERB), impact assessments and proposal efforts.
