Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will be responsible for developing and leading the Global BioPharma Partnerships sales function for InsightRX’s clinical trials business. Your role will be to develop GTM strategies to identify, land and expand into biopharma companies looking to incorporate precision dosing into the drug development process. This role is responsible for developing and executing on plans to achieve revenue targets through collaboration with biopharmaceutical business leaders and the development of a commercial team while ensuring the establishment of a well-structured operation that has repeatable practices and processes. You will work closely with our research, product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. 

Responsibilities

As the Vice President, Global BioPharma Partnerships, you will:

  • Commercialize InsightRX Apollo for Phase I Dose Escalation Studies
  • Develop GTM strategy to identify, land and expand into biopharma companies running Phase I Dose Escalation Studies
  • Expand company’s Gene Therapy Market business
  • Develop channel partnerships to accelerate clinical trial business
  • Tailor sales pitches and develop marketing content across all three existing product lines
  • Represent InsightRX at scientific and BD-related conferences regularly attended by pharma decision makers
  • Research and remain current on competitor tactics, market conditions and trends in the industry
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers. Identify and classify the sales potential of each client. Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions
  • Attract, build, lead, train, and coach a progressive Business Development team
  • Quantify value propositions in the form of pricing and ROI models
  • Make recommendations for positioning, branding, and marketing channel partnership strategies
  • Develop sales collateral/materials
  • Coordinate stakeholders across the company and externally to understand and support key business development needs, identifying gaps in current capabilities and augmenting strengths
  • Overnight travel is required

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a science-related field, or equivalent related education and experience
  • MBA preferred, not required
  • Graduate degree in science-related field preferred, not required
  • Multiple years of Sales and BD experience in a Senior Leadership role
  • Global BD experience preferred
  • Understanding of complex and lengthy sales cycles and how to create achievable milestones and deliver meticulous follow-up
  • Experience in business development with SaaS products to pharmaceutical companies and/or clinical research organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of market dynamics and economics during drug development and clinical trials
  • Experience performing deep market analyses and developing commercial/GTM strategies
  • Must be strategic, flexible, tenacious and results-oriented
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Superior communication skills (presentation and documentation)
