It is both a strategic and a tactical position. Those that do not want to get their hands dirty or build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions should not apply. This position is responsible for the monthly reporting on accounts receivable (A/R) results across all Kraft Business Units. This includes identifying, analyzing and explaining variances versus the Annual Contract (AC) and prior year. It also requires preparation and analysis to establish the A/R Annual Contract for key financial metrics such as: IPC, Total Past Dues, ADL, and DSO. This individual will be the administrator of customer bankruptcy activities. This includes the filing of Kraft’s claims with the courts, working with management to mitigate potential losses, and partnering with outside legal counsel in developing defenses in preference actions. This role will prepare credit evaluations across the entire Kraft portfolio of customers. This will include analyzing industry trends, benchmarking Kraft to the food industry, examining sales volume and historical exposures, and reviewing customer financial ratios. They will use these evaluations to establish credit lines for customers. The position will monitor customer’s compliance within these credit limits and will take action to ensure Kraft’s assets are protected (holding shipments, moving customers to cash advance, etc. for customers that exceed established credit limits). This role will lead efforts to streamline and implement efficient processes for credit and risk management. It will manage credit and collection activities for acquisitions and divestitures, which includes coordinating with all effected Kraft functions, managing the A/R collection process during the stated TSA timeframe, and the SAP payer alignment of legal entities. The role will partner with Kraft internal and external audit to ensure credit policies and procedures are adhered to in a timely and accurate manner. The role will include ad hoc reporting and streamlining of current processes.
