Job Summary: 

Head – OHS & Quality shall provide comprehensive Health & Safety support for respective CUs, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with H&S requirements and procedures.

Main accountability of Head – OHS & Quality is to

  • Ensure delivery quality of execution and first time right
  • Reduce the number of H&S incidents in all Ericsson CU operations;
  • Reduce the severity of H&S incidents in all Ericsson CU operations;
  • Significantly increase employee knowledge and understanding of H&S issues contributing to incident and non-conformance.


  • Ensuring mandatory compliance of Ericsson defined set of non-negotiable lifesaving rules which are mandatory for all employees, contractors and subcontractors, whilst working on any Ericsson projects undertakings.
  • Ensuring execution and coordination of internal and external audits, assessments and inspections.
  • Monitoring CU H&S Regional Targets and KPIs
  • H&S incident management including investigation, reporting and communication
  • Ensuring performance and coordination of risk assessments and safety inspections;
  • Compiling and analyzing results from the Risk Assessments, Internal and external assessments and inspections, incidents and other sources to identify areas of improvements;
  • Driving regional activities and improvements
  • Support monitoring of Supplier H&S performance;
  • Communication and H&S awareness and H&S training support
  • Preparing quarterly status reports, performance and areas of improvements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the any Project Specification has adequate time built-in to allow for the proper planning and execution of Occupational HSE in project delivery
  • Responsible for ensuring adequate budget is allocated for the management of HSE on the project.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: BE / BTech - ECE 
  • Years of experience: 15 to 20 years
