Be the difference and watch our company and your career rise together. 3DS IT is looking for a seasoned project manager with hands on experience in managing IT Infrastructure & Operations related solutions implementation. This position will interact with both internal IT organizations and 3DS business in formulating strategy in support of multiyear IT project portfolio planning; in addition to implementing IT projects. Location will be in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Project Manager (Information Systems) key responsibilities: Leading & Managing projects in the domain IT infrastructure platforms & associated implementation & enhancement Plan, prioritize, prepare, present, and review potential project requests, cost/benefit studies, and recommend funding and resources for IT internal projects Work closely with stakeholders, possibly across multiple business segment, to ensure alignment on requests vs. projects, and proactively look for any overlooked dependencies. Anticipate and proactively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent project team from delivering on project objectives Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Coordinates work performed by IT staffs, internal customers/partners and vendors by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Perform vendor management related tasks including writing Statement of Work, defining all deliverables, schedule, work plans as well as communication and escalation model for issue managements Actively track and manage project(s) execution and support leadership in managing projects dependency, within and/or across domains. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Proven experience in managing large scale company wide deployment within the constraint of clear budget, scope and timeline Projects may vary in number, size and complexity. Qualifications Technical skills & Experience Required minimum 7 years of project related experience, including minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and/or managing IT Infrastructure related solutions. Strong Preference on Microsoft solution such as O365 / SharePoint implementation Required Strong understanding of I&O processes including change management Proven experience in managing large scale company wide deployment within the constraint of defined budget, scope and timeline Adaptability in objective based assignment and excel in dynamic collaboration environment to learn/grow. Independent / action oriented with thorough analytical approach Hands on experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, executive stakeholder relationship management, organizational change management and IT vendor/partner management Demonstrated understanding of information technology practices and various project management technologies. E.g. experience on Waterfall and Agile project management methodology BA/BS degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience Proven experience in using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Office, Projects, Visio) Strong and proven communication skills (verbal and written, including executive communication) Strong preference with PMI certification Experience in working in global virtual team environment, including but not limited to offshore model Travel up to 25% *U.S 3D Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
