WE Communications, one of the world’s largest independent integrated communications agencies, is looking for driven professionals to join our highly successful office in London. With an office close to Bankside, we are keen to bolster our ranks with a creative and enthusiastic Social Media and Content Manager to join us and work on a great mix of B2B and B2C Technology, Consumer and Health clients.

Our UK office is one of 24 across the globe, and it’s expanding rapidly. We work across time zones and continents. Our clients are innovative and so is our work – and importantly, our employees come first. We are currently looking for a first-class Social Media and Content expert to become an integral part of our award-winning team and help us drive to drive full-integration across all our disciplines – Technology, Healthcare, Consumer and Digital and Experience technology. You are required to have a can-do attitude, a willingness to learn, contribute and have a voice in our super-collaborative team. We also require you to have some agency experience to date, with an inquisitive mind and willingness to come out of your comfort zone and embrace our collaborative culture.

This a great opportunity for an ambitious Social Media and Content Manager to help us drive full integration across our client portfolio, allowing you to work with an experienced Digital Strategy and Content Director and Creative Lead to learn, grow and fulfil your potential.

Key strengths within this role should include campaign and content planning, copywriting, content creation, channel management, monitoring, reporting, generating insights, paid social activation, international coordination and the ability to think multi-channel/multi-platform at all times. Responsibilities

  • Develop social and content strategies for clients
  • Develop developing regular ‘smaller campaign’ plans
  • Lead the development engaging social media content, both written and visual
  • Constantly proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Constantly implementing new techniques to drive engagement and meet our clients’ objectives on social media
  • Driving and overseeing the execution of campaigns from conception to launch following deadlines and project plans
  • Driving the creation of insightful social media reports
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge on the general social media landscape and in the context of specific clients
  • Lead planning and execution on WE UK’s social media marketing and channels

Qualifications

  • Typically, at 4+ years’ experience in Social Media/Content/Digital, preferably in an agency setting or within applicable industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Strong content creation skills – visual and written social media content, blog posts, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of all social media channels
  • Experience in paid social campaign management
  • Ability to build strong client and team relationships
  • Confident, entrepreneurial, self-starter: able to identify and seize opportunities and build trust with key internal and external stakeholders
