Partnership Marketing is a division of Acquisition Marketing, and is responsible for executing direct-to-consumer marketing to these groups to drive new business growth at Liberty Mutual. The Marketing Program Manager is part of a team of five individual contributors, reporting to the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing, who reports to the VP of Acquisition Marketing. S/he is an integrated marketer who provides end-to-end strategic and tactical leadership of B2C direct marketing campaigns via channels like email and direct mail. Responsibilities Be the day-to-day marketing strategy lead for Employer, Alumni and Associations segments, focused on leading initiatives that increase drive volume growth, and improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Develop annual strategy plans and drive alignment with 30+ internal stakeholders looking to execute email and direct mail campaigns on behalf of external partners. With the support of two junior team members, work with external creative agencies to coordinate, design, manage and execute full end-to-end email and direct mail marketing campaigns that drive new business acquisition. Lead the end-to-end management of creative deliverables from brief writing, concept review, execution, and post launch analysis. Collaborate with internal analytics team to closely monitor ROE/ROI and success metrics/KPI’s post-campaign. Develop innovative creative testing and optimization plans; analyze creative test results to determine effectiveness and apply insights to transform future strategy and testing roadmap. Partner with internal Consumer Insights team to conduct research/pre-market creative testing and infuse learnings in marketing campaigns. Effectively communicate test results and recommendations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership. Research and assess cutting-edge opportunities/trends that will drive innovation into our marketing programs. Research and vet external vendors that offer technology/creative solutions to achieve innovation. Manage internal ops/tracking and invoicing processes as needed. Execute cross-functional projects for the Partnership Marketing team that span multiple tactics and require coordination and buy-in from multiple stakeholders within and outside of marketing. Key Skills Ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver on shared goals and sell in additional marketing campaigns/testing opportunities. Ability to push the status quo by bringing innovative thinking and fresh ideas that drive step-change growth, either through use of data, new technologies or creative execution. Strong fundamental knowledge of KPI’s/success metrics across email and direct mail, as well as fulfillment logistics like appending web IDs to URLs and managing tollfree numbers. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills to partner with variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Highly effective project management skills to drive complex cross-functional programs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 6+ years of demonstrated B2C marketing/communications experience Past experience in managing email and direct mail campaigns strongly preferred Past experience in agencies or in partnership/affinity marketing space a plus Financial/Insurance industry experience a plus Ability to travel – 10%.
